On the 29th of June, 2013 Resurs-P spacecraft developed and designed at TsSKB-Progress was transferred from injection orbit into operating orbit.

Parameters of Resurs-P operating orbit:

– perigee ≈ 468 km;

– apogee ≈ 486 km;

– inclination – 97,270;

– period – 93,9 min.

Target equipment meant for Earth surface images are being adjusted. Parameters describing spacecraft condition (temperature, pressure inside module, supply voltage) are met. No remarks to onboard equipment operation.

Resurs-P Earth observation spacecraft was launched from Baikonur cosmodrome on the 25th of June, 2013. It was developed on the basis of Resurs-DK structure and hardware as well as its design and operating time were used to improve its performance characteristics such as increase in number of narrow spectral ranges from 3 to 5 , hyper spectral and stereo survey, images accuracy of 10-15 m, increase of spacecraft lifetime from 3 to 5 years.
