26 january 2012January 26, 2012 at 03 h 06 min 40 sec Moscow time, The Progress M-14M cargo ship was launched atop a Soyuz-U launch-vehicle from Site #1 of the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
It was launched in normal mode. Progress M-14M is to deliver more than 2.5 ton of supply to the International space station: scientific hardware, fuel, food, water and air for the crew, expendables.
It is the first flight of the Soyuz launch-vehicle in 2012.
The Soyuz-U launch-vehicle is designed and manufactured by TsSKB-Progress.
