On the 17th of November, 2011 TsSKB-Progress Samara Space Center submitted a technical project on the subject of New-generation Middle-class Space System with Enhanced Lifting Capacity for Vostochny Cosmodrome for defence to scientific and technical council in Federal Space Agency.
Directors and experts of the Russian subcontracting companies in the perspective project, including Korolev SRC Energia, JSC Makeev GRTs, FSUE TsENKI, took part in the session under the chairmanship of A.P. Lopatin, the Deputy Head of Federal Space Agency.
Technical project New-generation Middle-class Space System with Enhanced Lifting Capacity for Vostochny Cosmodrome has been defended successfully.
New space system design for Vostochny cosmodrome has been developed since 2009. On a competitive basis TsSKB-Progress in cooperation with SRC Energia and Makeev GRTs has been appointed as the leading project designer. Works on this subject have been completed with the defence of the technical project.
