On February 7, 2016 at 03.21 (Moscow time) SOYUZ-2.1B Launch Vehicle (LV) with FREGAT Upper Stage and GLONASS-M-51 Satellite was launched successfully from the state testing spaceport Plesetsk by an operational crew of the Aerospace Forces.

The Launch Vehicle was launched successfully in a normal mode. Soyuz-2.1B LV has been developed and produced at SRC Progress.

It was the 29th launch of the given type LV. Soyuz-2.1B LV has been put into operation since 2006.
