On February 5, 2014, Soyuz-U integrated launch vehicle with Progress M-22M cargo spaceship was launched from Baikonur’s Site No.1 at 20:23 Moscow time.

The launch of Soyuz-U with Progress M-22M was nominal. Progress M-22M cargo spaceship delivers air, water and food for cosmonauts, propellant for the ISS orbit maintenance, equipment for the station modernization, scientific instruments for the experiments to be carried out onboard of the International Space Station.

Soyuz-U middle-class launch vehicle was designed and produced at the Rocket Space Centre “TsSKB-Progress” in Samara.
