18.12.2019 A Soyuz-ST-A launch vehicle with a Fregat-M upper stage was launched from the Guiana Space Centre with the European CHEOPS space telescope and four satellites aboard.
11.12.2019 The launch of a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with a Fregat upper stage and the Glonass-M spacecraft was successfully performed by a Space Forces detachment of the VKS (Russian Aerospace Forces) from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. 
06.12.2019 A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome with the Progress MS-13 cargo spacecraft atop.
25.11.2019 The launch of a Soyuz-2.1v launch vehicle with a Volga upper stage and a spacecraft was successfully performed from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
13.11.2019 Vadim G. Neboga, the  deputy general director of RKTs Progress for production, has died tragically.
28.10.2019 Today sees the 125th anniversary of the opening a workshop for production of bicycles in Moscow by engineer and entrepreneur Y. A. Meller. Since 1900, it was the Dux Factory, since 1919 – State Aviation Plant No.1, since 1961 – the Progress plant, and now RKTs Progress.
25.10.2019 Today is the 100th birthday of Mikhail G. Perchyonk who was the secretary of the VLKSM (All-Union Leninist Young Communist League) Committee of the plant during the Great Patriotic War,   the first head of the R-7 rocket assembly department in 1958-1959, the deputy director of the Progress plant for production in 1960-1970.
01.10.2019 Today is the 100th birthday of legendary designer of space-rocket hardware Dmitry I. Kozlov, twice Hero of Socialist Labour, the general designer of OKB-1 branch No.3 and Kuibyshev-based branch of TsKBEM (Central Design Bureau of Experimental Machine Building), the first general designer of FGUP GNP RKTs Progress (PROGRESS State Research-and-Production Space-Rocket Centre, Federal State Unitary Enterprise), the first  Honorary Citizen of Samara oblast.
26.09.2019 The launch of a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with a spacecraft onboard was successfully performed by a Space Forces detachment of the VKS (Russian Aerospace Forces) in the  interests of the Ministry of Defense from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
25.09.2019 A Soyuz-FG launch vehicle developed and produced by RKTS Progress successfully launched the Soyuz MS-15  crew spacecraft from the Baikonur cosmodrome.  The crew consists of cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, astronaut Jessica Meir and  UAE  astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri. This launch is the 70th and the last in the history of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicles.
22.08.2019 A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle was successfully launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. This is the first launch of the  Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with a crew spacecraft of the Soyuz MS type. 
31.07.2019 A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome with the Progress MS-12 cargo spacecraft atop.
30.07.2019 The launch of a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with a spacecraft was successfully performed by a Space Forces detachment of the VKS (Russian Aerospace Forces) from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
23.07.2019 Today is the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Department No. 25 of OKB-1 (Experimental Design Bureau) – TsSKB  (Central Specialized Design Bureau)  since 1974. Up to 2003, its permanent leader was twice Hero of Socialist Labour D. I. Kozlov.
10.07.2019 The launch of a Soyuz-2.1v launch vehicle with a Volga upper stage and spacecraft of different purposes was successfully performed from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. Both the Soyuz-2.1v two-stage light-lift launch vehicle and the Volga upper stage are developed and produced by RKTs Progress.
05.07.2019 A Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with a Fregat upper stage was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome with the Meteor-M No.2-2 spacecraft and small satellites aboard.
21.06.2019 Today is the 55th birthday of Hero of the Russian Federation, cosmonaut Oleg D. Kononenko. In 1988-1996, O. D. Kononenko worked in TsSKB (Central Specialized Design Bureau) as a design engineer for spacecraft power supply.
15.06.2019 Today is the 85th birthday of Hero of Socialist Labour Anatoli A. Chizhov that headed the Progress plant in 1980-1996.
27.05.2019 The launch of a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with a Fregat upper stage and the Glonass-M spacecraft was successfully performed by a Space Forces detachment of the VKS (Russian Aerospace Forces) from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. 
04.04.2019 A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome with the Progress MS-11 cargo spacecraft atop.
04.04.2019 A Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle with a Fregat-MT upper stage was launched from the Guiana Space Centre with the four European O3b satellites aboard.
14.03.2019 A Soyuz-FG launch vehicle successfully launched the Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft, which took the Expedition 59/60 crew to the ISS. The crew consists of Poscosmos cosmonaut Aleksey Ovchinin, NASA astronauts Nick Hague and Christina Koch. 
28.02.2019 A Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle with a Fregat-M upper stage was launched from the Guiana Space Centre with the OneWeb-pilot satellites. That was an anniversary – 1900th – launch of the R-7 family launch vehicles made by RKTs Progress since 1959. 
21.02.2019 The Egyptsat-A spacecraft was launched by a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
21.02.2019 This day sees the 50th anniversary of the first launch of the N-1 moon rocket. The Kuibyshev-based branch of TsKBEM (Central Design Bureau of Experimental Machine Building) under the leadership of D. I. Kozlov developed its Block G. The Progress plant under the leadership of A. Ja. Len’kov was a parent enterprise for the production of the N-1 launch vehicle.
17.02.2019 It is the 60th anniversary of the first launch of the R-7 intercontinental ballistic missile made by State Aviation Plant No. 1 (now RKTs Progress). This date is considered the beginning of rocket production in Samara

Georgi E. Fomin, the recipient of the Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order for the Service to Homeland IIIrd Class, the recipient of the State Prize of the USSR, Honorary Worker of RKTs Progress, deputy general designer in 1996-2007, has departed from this life.

28.12.2018 Five years ago was the first successful launch of the light-class Soyuz-2-1v launch vehicle, designed and manufactured by SRC Progress JSC. The two-stage Soyuz-2-1v is meant to place satellites weighing up to 3 tons to the low-earth orbit. If equipped with Volga upper stage, the carrier is capable to inject satellites into the sun-synchronous orbit. This is the first light-class liquid propulsion launch vehicle designed in modern Russia. 
27.12.2018 December 27, 2018 at 05:07 am msc there was launched Soyuz-2-1a launch vehicle designed and manufactured by SRC Progress JSC. The carrier equipped with Fregat upper stage placed Russian remote sensing satellites Kanopus-B 5 and 6 and piggyback payloads (small satellites) into orbit. The launch was performed from Vostochny cosmodrome.

08.12.2018 December 8, 2018 Nikolay Rodin, Chief Engineer of the Progress Manufacturing Plant in 1988–2008 (now SRC Progress JSC) passed this world. 
03.12.2018 December 3, 2018 at 02:31pm msc Soyuz-FG LV successfully delivered crew 58/59 in Soyuz-MC-11 manned crew transfer vehicle to the International Space Station. The launch was performed from launch pad 1 (the so called “Gagarin launch pad”) of Baikonur cosmodrome. The crew consisted of Oleg Kononenko (Roskosmos cosmonaut), David Saint-Jacques (CSA astronaut) and Anne McClain (NASA astronaut).  
19.11.2018 The SRC Progress JSC Board of Directors elected Dmitry Baranov General Director.
15.11.2018 Memorial plaque solemn opening ceremony was conducted on the Military and Labor Glory Lane in Samara. The plaques were dedicated to the memory of 51 test pilots and 13 testers of the State Aircraft Factory 1 (now SRC Progress JSC). Those plaques on the Labor Glory Monument of SRC Progress JSC resulted from huge joint efforts of the Progress workers and Regional VA Council. 
15.11.2018 Thirty years ago was launched the first Energia launch vehicle with Buran orbiter. Kuibyshev Progress manufacturing plant (now Samara SRC Progress JSC) produced the core module of the II stage (the so called “Ts unit”) and launch support module (the so called “Ya unit”). Workers of the Progress manufacturing plant branch on Baikonur cosmodrome performed the overall assembly of Energia launch vehicle and mating of the carrier with Buran orbiter. 
07.11.2018 November 7, 2018 at 03:47am msc there was launched Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle with Fregat-M upper stage and MetOp-C meteorological satellite. The launch was performed from Guiana space center.
31.10.2018 Forty-five years ago (1973) there was launched Bion, the first scientific and research satellite designed and manufactured by SRC Progress JSC. Experiments carried out aboard Bion allowed to meet fundamental research challenges of the space science, make important discoveries and form the basis of the modern space medicine. 
26.10.2018 Fifty years ago (1968) there was the first launch of Soyuz with the upgraded manned crew transfer vehicle operated by Georgy Beregovoy space pilot. 
25.10.2018 October 25, 2018 there was inauguration of the memorial plaque dedicated to Viktor Chernyaev, a Komsomol member heroically died during the Great Patriotic War.
25.10.2018 October 25, 2018 at 03:15am msc the combat crew of the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launched Soyuz-2-1b launch vehicle to support national security interests. The launch was performed from Plesetsk, the 1st State Test Cosmodrome at the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense.
06.10.2018 The combined team of SRC Progress JSC led the medal count in the Third Space Athletics Competition of Roskosmos and aerospace industry workers. 
28.08.2018 August 28, 2018 there was held a grand meeting of the Science and Technology Council dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sergey Afanasiev, one of the space industry founders. The distinguished guests were Oleg Baklanov, Minister of general engineering of the USSR in 1983–1988 and Vyacheslav Filin, the grand old man of the labor, Deputy General Designer at the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia in 1982-1992.

25.06.2018 Five years ago was launched Resurs-P 1 satellite meant for high-precision, precision wide-range and hypespectral optronic imaging of the Earth. 
17.06.2018 June 17, 2018 at 00:46am msc the combat crew of the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launched Soyuz-2-1b launch vehicle with Fregat upper stage and Glonass-M navigation satellite. The launch was performed from Plesetsk, the 1st State Test Cosmodrome at the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense. 
06.06.2018 June 6, 2018 at 02:12pm msc Soyuz-FG LV successfully delivered crew 56/57 in Soyuz-MC-09 manned crew transfer vehicle to the International Space Station. The launch was performed from launch pad 1 (the so called “Gagarin launch pad”) of Baikonur cosmodrome. The crew consisted of Sergey Prokopiev (Roskosmos cosmonaut), Serena Auñón – Chancellor (NASA astronaut) and Alexander Gerst (ESA astronaut).  
05.06.2018 The team of SRC Progress JSC became the second-place winner in the WorldSkills III Corporate Championship in the category Roskosmos-2018 Young Experts. 
18.05.2018 Forty-five years ago was launched the first Soyuz-U launch vehicle. That was the mass-market modification of Soyuz launcher. It was designed by the design bureau headed by Dmitry Kozlov and mass-produced at the Progress manufacturing plant.  Multi-purpose middle-class carrier could place manned and cargo Soyuz- and Progress-type spaceship, special-purpose satellites, technological, bio-medical research satellites (Foton and Bion) and foreign satellites into the near-earth orbit.
28.04.2018 Two years ago Aist-2D small satellite was launched from Vostochny cosmodrome. The satellite was designed by SRC Progress JSC jointly with Samara National Research University named after academician Sergey Korolev. State federal and regional users utilize the remote sensing data acquired by Aist-2D for their purposes.
30.03.2018 Sixty years ago was established the Launch Vehicle Final Assembly and Tests Workshop at the State Aircraft Factory 1 (currently SRC Progress JSC). Nowadays Soyuz and Soyuz-2 launch vehicles are built there.

The launch was performed from launch pad 1 (the so called “Gagarin launch pad”) of Baikonur cosmodrome. The crew consisted of Oleg Artemyev (Roskosmos cosmonaut), Andrew Feustel and Richard Arnold (NASA astronauts).

02.01.2018 Sixty years ago there was made a decision to begin batch production of R-7 missiles in Kuibyshev (Samara). January 2, 1958 the CPSU Central Committee and the Council of Ministers of the USSR made a ruling 2-1 concerning organization of the batch manufacturing of product 8К71 at the Stalin State Aircraft Factory 1 under Council of National Economy. The 8К71 is the famous rocket R-7 (the so called “semyorka”) designed by OKB-1 design bureau headed by Sergey Korolev. 
17.12.2017 At 10 h 21 min Moscow time the Soyuz MS-07 manned spaceship was successfully launched aboard a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle from Site 1 of the Baikonur cosmodrome. Soyuz MS-07 delivered to the International Space Station the crew of expedition 54/55 consisting of ROSCOSMOS’s cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, NASA’s astronaut Scott Tingle and JAXA’s astronaut Norishige Kanai.
02.12.2017 At 13 h 43 min Moscow time a Soyuz-2.1b with a spacecraft onboard was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the interests of national security.
28.11.2017 At 08 h 41 min Moscow time a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle developed and built by RKTs Progress was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome with the Fregat upper stage, Meteor-M spacecraft #2-1 and small satellites of piggyback payload onboard. The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle operation was nominal.
16.11.2017 25 years ago, November 16-22, 1992 a unique international space project, devoted to the 500th anniversary of the discovery of the Americas by Christopher Columbus, was implemented. Within the framework of the project, a Soyuz-U launch vehicle was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. It injected the Resurs-500 spacecraft into orbit. Resurs-500 completed 111 revolutions around the Earth. On November 22, the reentry capsule splashed down off the coast of the USA where Russian experts took it aboard the Marshal Krylov research ship. The Resurs-500 spacecraft was delivered to the port of Seattle and handed over to the Boeing Company’s Museum of Flight. The initiator and main executor of the project was the Progress plant and TsSKB design bureau (now JSC SRC Progress). The Europe-America-500 project showed JSC SRC Progress’s design and production capabilities to foreign customers and became the beginning of the international activity of the company.
14.10.2017 At 11 h 46 min Moscow time a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-07 space cargo ship onboard was launched from Site № 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.
22.09.2017 At 03 h 03 min Moscow time a Soyuz-2.1b with the Fregat upper stage and the Glonass-M spacecraft onboard was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
13.09.2017 At 00 h 17 min Moscow time, the Soyuz MS-06 manned spaceship was successfully launched aboard a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle from Site 1 of the Baikonur cosmodrome. Soyuz MS-06 delivered to the International Space Station the crew of expedition 53/54 consisting of ROSCOSMOS’s cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin, and NASA’s astronauts Mark Vande Hei and Joseph Acaba.
15.09.2017 JSC SRC Progress held the Vth All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Focal Problems of Space-Rocket Hardware’ (the V Kozlov Readings). The conference was attended by over 300 scientists, postgraduates and students from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg and other cities of Russia. It was for the first time when within the framework of the Kozlov’s Readings there was an international section where scientists from China, France, Great Britain, Belarus, and Kazakhstan presented their papers.
28.07.2017 At 18 h 41 min Moscow time, the Soyuz MS-05 manned spaceship was successfully launched aboard a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle from Site 1 of the Baikonur cosmodrome. Soyuz MS-05 delivered to the International Space Station the crew of expedition 52/53 consisting of ROSCOSMOS’s cosmonaut Sergey Ryazansky, NASA’s astronaut Randolph Bresnik and ЕSА's astronaut Paolo Nespoli. It is the 60th launch of a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle during its operation.
14.07.2017 At 9 h 36 min Moscow time a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle was launched from Site 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome with the Fregat upper stage, the Kanopus-V-IK spacecraft, and a piggyback payload of 72 small satellites onboard. During its operation, it is the 25th launch of a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle.
29.06.2017 JC SRC Progress held the II WorldSkills Hi-tech corporate championship ‘Young Professionals of ROSCOSMOS - 2017’. It took in 124 participants from 28 teams of enterprises of the Russian space-rocket industry. The participants competed in six skills: CNC milling, CNC turning, Welding, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Design - CAD, and Prototype Modeling. By the championship results, Progress’s team acknowledged as the winner.
23.06.2017 At 21 h 04 min Moscow time, a Soyuz-2.1v with the Volga upper stage and a spacecraft onboard was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the interests of national security.
14.06.2017 At 12 h 20 min Moscow time, a Soyuz-2.1a with the Progress MS-06 space cargo ship onboard was launched from Site 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.
14.06.2017 Today is the 80th anniversary of Hero of Socialist Labour, deputy General Director of JSC SRC Progress, Lenin and State prizes winner, honorary citizen of Samara Gennady Petrovich Anshakov. For years he was a close associate of D.I. Kozlov and among the first to create automatic attitude control systems for spacecraft. G.P. Anshakov an outstanding contribution to creation of the Yantar-2K spacecraft that introduced a new era in development of national Earth remote sensing facilities, as well as to creation of the Resurs-DK spacecraft, Resurs-P spacecraft and many others.
25.05.2017 At 09 h 33 min Moscow time, a Soyuz-2.1b with a spacecraft onboard was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the interests of national security.
18.05.2017 A Soyuz-ST-A launch vehicle with the Fregat-M upper stage and the SES-15 telecommunication satellite onboard was launched from the launching pad of the Guiana Space Centre.
15.05.2017 JSC SRC Progress held a grand meeting devoted to the 30th anniversary of the first launch of the Energia superheavy-lift launch vehicle. The event was attended by employees and veterans of the company who had participated in development and building of Energia. The Progress plant of Samara had assumed the main load associated with implementation of that large-scale space project. Its mission was to build the Ts core module (of Stage 2) and Ya assembly-launch module, to assemble the Energia launch vehicle, and to mate it to the Buran orbiter and Polus space module.
28.04.2017 This is the first anniversary of the first launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome. On April 28, 2016 a Soyuz-2-1a launch vehicle with the Volga upper stage, developed by SRC Progress, delivered into orbit the Aist-2D satellite, Lomonosov satellite and the SamSat-218 nanosatellite. Aist-2D was created under the master project of SRC Progress and Samara University.
20.04.2017 At 10 h 13 min Moscow time, the manned spaceship of a new Soyuz MS-04 modification was successfully launched aboard a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle from Site 1 of the Baikonur cosmodrome. Soyuz MS-04 delivered to the International Space Station the crew of expedition 51/52: ROSCOSMOS’s cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin and NASA’s astronaut Jack Fischer.
22.02.2017 At 08 h 58 min Moscow time, the Progress MS-05 cargo spacecraft was launched aboard a Soyuz-U launch vehicle from Site 1 of the Baikonur cosmodrome. With this launch the program of the Soyuz-U operation has ended. The total number of the Soyuz-U launches is 789, and only 22 of them are unsuccessful. The confirmed reliability-performance measure of this launch vehicle is over 0.98.
28.01.2017 From the launch pad in the Guiana Space Centre (GSC), a Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle was successfully launched with an upper composite comprising the Fregat-MT upper stage and the European Hispasat AG-1 telecommunication satellite. It is for the first time when a launch vehicle of the Soyuz-ST type injected a spacecraft with a mass of over 3 tons into geotransfer orbit.
18.01.2017 Today sees the centenary of Afanasy Ya. Len’kov’s birth who was a director of the Progress plant from 1966 till 1980. Under his leadership, the Progress plant started serial production of launch vehicles of the Soyuz type as well as spacecraft, implemented “lunar program” (the N-1 launch-vehicle), started arrangements to manufacture the Energia superheavy-lift launch-vehicle.
14.01.2017 Today is the 90th anniversary of Hero of Socialist Labour Aleksandr M. Soldatenkov, chief designer for launch vehicles of the R-7A, Soyuz, and Soyuz-2 types, Lenin and State prizes winner, honorary citizen of Samara and Baikonur.
17.11.2016 From Baikonur Site № 1 (Gagarin’s Start) a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle successfully launched the new version of manned transport spacecraft, Soyuz MS-03.
11.11.2016 RKTs-Progress’ combined team was placed first in the First Industry Sports Contest of the Roscosmos State Corporation, which took place from 3 to 10 November 2016 in the Zvezda sports and fitness complex of the Khrunichev Centre.
19.10.2016 From Site 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome, a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle performed a successful launch of the new version of manned transport spacecraft, Soyuz MS-02.
15.09.2016 The Progress Space-Rocket Centre (RKTs-Progress) celebrated the 75th anniversary of its activity on the land of Samara. In recognition of RKTs-Progress’ services, with a formal ceremony, Governor of Samara oblast N.I. Merkushkin handed over the flag of the city of Samara with the honorary ribbon, reading the City of Labor and War Glory, to the enterprise.

02.04.2016 RKTs-Progress held a workmanship competition among young workers devoted to the 55th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s spaceflight. 67 young workers of RKTs-Progress competed for the title of the best worker in their category and demonstrated their skills in parts-making as well as theoretical knowledge in their field. The competition was held for four trades – turners, millers, locksmiths, and electronics mounters. Three winners were chosen in every category.

Letter plates with information about “Progress” workers – Heroes of Soviet Union, Heroes of Socialist Labor, and the Enterprise’s Awards, are presented on the Monument.
07.05.2015 SRC Progress Monument inauguration ceremony was conducted after reconstruction. The Monument was installed on Labor Glory Alley in honor of the Great Victory. The Monument is represented by Valour and Victory symbols - St. George Ribbon, letter plates with information about the history and achievements of SRC Progress, and the Enterprise’s awards as well.
06.05.2015 Collection of veterans’ memories “Medal for Battle Merit and Medal for Meritorious Labor are casted from the same metal!” was published at SRC Progress. The Enterprise’s contribution in the Great Victory, feats of arms in battle-fronts and feats of labor in home front, in workshops of the plant, where aircrafts had been produced, are reflected in the publication. The book also includes memories about legendary director of the State Aviation Plant N1 (SRC Progress JSC now) V.Y. Litvinov, devoted to Litvinov’s 105th Anniversary.

In December 21, 2011at 05.16.15 p.m. (Moscow time) manned Soyuz-TMA-03M spaceship was successfully launched by Soyuz-FG carrier from Gagarin launching site, in Baikonur cosmodrome.

The spaceship is meant for long-duration crew No 30/31 delivery to ISS. The crew consists of Oleg Kononenko, Russian cosmonaut (spaceship commander), Andre Kaupers, ESA astronaut (flight engineer), and Donald Pettit, NASA’s astronaut (flight engineer-2).

01.01.1909 Production of early types of aircraft was adopted on Dux plant. 
01.01.1900 Y.A.Meller’s firm was reorganized into Dux coorporation. Besides biciycles the production of motocycles, trolleys, handcars, snowplanes and later airships was started.
01.01.1894 In Moscow russified German U. Meller founded a Dux factory which specialized in production of bicycles.
